Using SPA Call Manager Pro
This is the main window of SPA Call Manager Pro:
Dialling Numbers
There is a variety of ways that you can call numbers using this application:
The number / Autodial box allows you to directly enter a telephone number into the box and then simply press return and the call command will be issued to the phone. Using this method the application will use the first available line on your handset to initiate the call. You can also use the line icons after typing the number in to specify which line to use when making the call (5 on the screenshot above).
The Call Button at the end of each directory entry will directly call the named contact, again using the first available line.
The number / Autodial box will also examine data in your clipboard. If you copy a number this will be automatically entered into the box ready for you to dial at the click of a button.
Ending or Rejecting Calls
When you receive a new incoming call the application will pop-up an alert in the notification area. If you do not want to accept the call, press the Red call reject button, alternatively press the green button to answer the call:
Call Directories
There are five call directories (Item 4 on the screenshot above):
Personal Directory – This is a list local to the application and it’s contents are stored in a CSV file on your computer.
Phone Directory – This shows the numbers stored on the phone itself. This list cannot be edited, but is useful for quickly dialling already stored contacts.
Dialled / Answered and Missed calls – These tabs retrieve all of the recent call history from the phone. Very useful for quickly dialling unnamed contacts.
Adding new entries to the Personal Directory
There are two ways new contacts can be added to the personal directory. Firstly by clicking on the “Add Entry to Phonebook” button. This will allow you to simply add a new contact, specifying their first name, surname and telephone number.
Additionally you can click on any of the numbers in the Dialed/Answered and Missed call tabs and this will bring up the phone book dialogue box pre-filled with the contacts number:
To delete an entry from your personal address book, simply highlight it and press the delete key on your keyboard.
